Reception

The boys got lots of love at the reception after the memorial service.  Eric picked out these outfits, and the boys couldn't have been cuter!  They were pretty well behaved and even snuck a couple naps in during the day :)

Grandma Bunny wished to have ashes spread at the church since she had such a passion for it.  We heard countless stories about how she invited the lost to her church and even in her last days was inviting the nurses to church and giving directions.  The family gathered after the reception and spread both Grandma Bunny and Grandpa Hal's ashes together in a newly planted tree.

The last evening we were together, we decided to take some family pictures.  It's hard to get everyone together since we live all over, and this was the perfect opportunity to capture the moments.  The boys had gone to bed and Grandpa Schmidt had his 50th High School reunion, but everyone else was able to be in the pictures.

Welcome Family!!

We have been so blessed to have some company this week!! Aunt Keri came in on Tuesday to visit because she was in the area for some training for work. She took the day off, and we picked her up in New Jersey on Tuesday morning and she was able to hang out the entire day with us! We always enjoy visiting with her, and Eric even took a half night so he could get up and spend time with her. We were so relaxed all day, I didn't even remember to take some pictures of her with the boys until right before she left (bedtime for the boys!). I don't have many pictures of the boys in the nursery, so this was a great opportunity. The boys were ready for bed and had already eaten, but the rest of the day, they gave Aunt Keri LOTS of smiles and laughs.. just not in this picture! We love you Aunt Keri and can't wait to visit your house for Thanksgiving :)

On Wednesday, we were lucky enough to have our cousins, April and Rachel come to visit with April's newest addition, Caroline Elizabeth!  Caroline was our Grandma's name, and I was so excited to meet the little lady!!  She is just a little more than a month old, and it brought back so many memories to see this little baby girl.  The boys seemed like monsters compared to her, and got out the pink blanket in honor of having our second cousin over!  She was a delight this afternoon and even stayed awake most of the time so we could enjoy her beautiful blue eyes!  We're so excited that Caroline lives closer than the rest of the clan and we hope to have many visits with her over the years!!

For the photo shoot, we had Caroline a little above the boys so they couldn't hit her.  As you can see, Caroline used her position only for good :)

We will miss you, Grandma Bunny!

This past weekend, Eric's Grandma Bunny passed away.  She was an amazing Christian woman who was loved by more people than I can imagine.  She was healthy right up until the end, active in her church and community.  We will be headed to her funeral this weekend to celebrate her full, wonderful life with family and friends.

What a wonderful Great Grandma!

I'm so thankful that Grandma Bunny came out a couple weeks ago to meet the boys.  The entire visit she had a huge smile on her face and more love for them than I can express.  She checked the blog daily, and would call and talk about the latest pictures.  We will surely miss Grandma Bunny now, and look forward to reuniting with her again in Heaven!

Visiting Everett!!

This weekend we were excited to go visit Ryan, Denee and cutie baby Everett! He is 7 months old, and we are all excited for the boys to get bigger so they can all play :) At this point, they do enjoy looking at each other, and it was fun to see Everett sitting up, playing and even eating big boy food! They live down near Annapolis and we enjoyed seeing the water and going to the marina with them for nice walk! We really enjoyed our visit with them and already started to plan the next one! Thanks for having us, guys, can't wait until next time :)

In the morning, before we left, we decided to do a couple more pictures of all the boys together. Landon and Everett were not too happy at first, but after some dancing around and calling out thier names, we got them to play. Everett liked putting his hand on Landon's face, and laying on Jordan's lap. All in all, we got some cute pictures, and I think the boys were mostly having fun!!

GO EAGLES!!

The boys are already huge EAGLES fans, and they love getting dressed up for the games.  We had people over last week, and I didn't get any pictures, but today we just watched as our little family of 4, and they were excited for the game!  I really try to keep the TV off when the boys are up because I've read that it's not good for babies.  Well, we obviously don't turn sports off because of our love for all Philadelphia sports, and the boys really do pay attention to the crazy movements on the TV... oh well :)  Eric took the pictures below while I tried to squeeze some smiles out.  Jordan was pretty serious while we were taking pictures, and started smiling like crazy after... such is life!

Favorite PJs :)

Grandma Schmidt got the boys these PJs long before they were here. They are nice and soft, and the boys are enjoying sleeping 9-10 hours/night for over a week now! Mom has enjoyed the long stretches, but still wakes up multiple times a night listening and hoping they won't wake up :) Jordan smiles a lot before I get the camera out and after I put it away. I think he knows I'm trying to catch him smiling and just wants me to put the crazy camera away and enjoy his smiles! Landon was pretty serious for this photo shoot too, and I think it was because it was right before bed time! I love how Landon is holding onto his brother in the first picture.. they love each other!!

Time for bed... we're sleepy!
