Nettleton Wedding Weekend

We were fortunate enough this past weekend to travel out to Medina OH to celebrate Rachel and Jason's marriage!  We stayed in the beautiful snow covered Purcell home and they once again were excellent hosts!  Although it was short, it was so nice to be with family and have a great time together.

Mom started off the day by backing off of the driveway on her way to get lunch for everyone.  Luckily we have 4 strong men that were able to easily get the car going again.  As you can see, Eric and Joel let Drew try it solo first... obviously he needed some help :)

Visiting Sammy

This weekend we were excited to head down to Ocean City to meet baby Sammy. Sammy was born in early November, so the boys have about 6 months on him, but surprisingly they all have about the same size feet :) Sammy was a chill little guy, and enjoyed watching our crazy boys play with all the toys.

We enjoyed visiting with Nate and Kelly too. They got us some delicious pizza (although it wasn't Mack and Manco's), and then ice cream sundaes! We had to head back early to get home for bedtime, but next time, we plan on invading overnight! Enjoy some pics of the three little guys that will soon be the best of friends!

Happy 8 Months!!

My boys are turning 8 months today, and I'm just so proud of them! We took a couple pictures so we could remember how stinkin' cute they are at this age!! Thanks Grandma Purcell for the super cute PJs :) I also got some individual pics and will give you some fun facts about what they are doing these days.

We couldn't love these boys more. Eric and I are just amazed each day at how much joy they bring to our lives. We didn't ever plan to be on this crazy rollercoaster with twins, but we wouldn't have it any other way! We love our boys more than anything, and we feel so blessed to have them in our lives!! Enough sap, now it's time for some pics :)

They almost don't fit on the chair together anymore, but I will keep squeezing them on as long as possible!

This is typical.. trying to play during pictures

Obviously they are interacting more these days!

How sweet are these boys, seriously?!?

Oh Mr. Landon. What a sweet little boy! He is my busy little guy, and I see all Eric in his appearance, but he has more of my personality :) Landon is always busy and looking around. You will often find him looking one way, then quickly looking the other and just taking it all in. He was the first to start saying sounds and all he said for over a week was 'Dadadadada'. It was pretty cute, I must admit. Then on Christmas morning he added 'Mamamama' which is his new favorite. He has mixed some bs and ns in there too, but most of the time it's "Mamama", which I just love! Here are some other fun things in Landon's life these days:
- Loves all food, and loves to spit even when he's really happy about a food
- Has got the pincher grip pretty much down, and loves putting whatever he can find in his mouth
- Still spits up quite a bit.. has now started wearing a bib during the day :)
- Loves to smile at daddy the most
- Still has no teeth
- Will pretty much smile at anything as long as it's silly
- Loves to be with his brother
- Says 'eh' a lot, almost like he's talking to us for real
- Still has his long hair in the front, daddy wants to cut it, but I think it's just too cute
- Loves the jumper and is constantly moving all around or jumping when he can
- Loves water in the sippy cup and has figured out how to hold it himself!

And then we have sweet Jordan. The jury is still out on who he looks like the most, but his eyes are still blue like his Nana's. I sure hope they stay blue since he looks so cute with them :) Jordan is clearly my thinker. He is much more relaxed and easy going, and always seems to be thinking about what is going on around him. He is a very happy, easy baby and I sure do love the little guy! Here is what he is up to lately:
- He loves most foods, and when he doesn't he is really good at clamping shut
- He loves feet and will play with, and suck on his or Landon's toes (yeah, I know, yuck!)
- He doesn't have teeth yet, but has been drooling and I swear I see a little white on his gums, so any day!
- He loves to get tickled under his arms and will laugh like crazy
- Sleeps 12-13 hours like a champ every night (unlike his brother)
- His hair is thickening up, and his bald spot on the back of his head is gone
- Discovers his hands daily, and I love it each time
- He absolutely loves Puffs and chews his food well
- Loves the sippy cup, but likes for mommy to hold it for him
- Aspen is his buddy, he is always looking for him and when he's around he's trying to pet him

Snow!!

I decided to take the boys out to experience the snow. It has snowed a bit this winter, and I haven't really gotten them out there to experience it. I guess my little guys aren't really ready to enjoy it quite yet :) These are the cute jackets that my mom got them for Christmas (don't worry we were only outside for about 3 minutes!)

We sat them in the snow and they did OK at first

Oh boy.. here we go!

Then Landon tried to lay down... (and then it was over!)
