Christmas Card

Well, our Christmas cards went out on Monday this week, and I think most have received them.  Enjoy!

More Santa!

We couldn't just see Santa from afar (on the helicopter!), so we signed up to see Santa with Nana and Grandpa at the Club with them. Santa even brought the boys some nice presents, but given their stranger anxiety lately, this is the best we could do! Hopefully next year they will be excited to see the man in the red suit!

This will not get framed this year!

We were OK once we calmed down!

More Presents!!

Christmas Card Pics and Santa!

I am way behind this year on the Christmas Cards, so I'm not going to wait until I send them out to share some pics (because likely some of the cards might come right after Christmas - yikes!).  Anyway, we had fun trying to get a cute pic of the boys especially because they want to just run around and play and not sit still.  We tried bribing with candy canes and letting them hold ornaments.  I think our card turned out OK, and I'll post it once it comes :)

On Saturday night, Santa came to Dublin on a helicopter!  I had heard about this before, but now that the boys were old enough,we thought it would be fun to take them!  Eric was out of town, so Uncle Adam and Aunt Lyndsay came with us to celebrate the arrival of Santa!  The boys did great considering it was pretty cold and we didn't bring a stroller :)

Typical pic.. crazy boys!

Jordan was very serious as he watched the helicopter land.. at least Aunt Lynds was excited!

18 Months

The boys turned 18 months on Sunday, and I just can't believe how fast time is flying by!  We went to the doctor yesterday and here are thier STATS:

Landon
Length - 30 3/4 in
Weight - 19 lbs 10 oz
Head - 18 1/4 in

Jordan
Length - 30 1/4 in
Weight - 19 lbs 10 oz
Head - 181/4 in

They still aren't on the charts, but they are growing, so the doctor is happy.  I'm glad they are still little so I can hold both of them when needed!  Here are a few pics and some fun facts about my favorite todders:

Mr Jordan - always has a ball in his hands

Obsessed with Lovie.. loves putting the tag in his mouth while he sleeps
Helping Mommy clean - loves vaccums, brooms, mops, dusters etc.
Running and running and running
Taunting Daddy (runs up to him, makes a noise and runs away)
Gives kisses to everyone (especially his bro)
Loves candy - flaps his arms when you give it to him
Says "HIII" in a high voice with his head turned to the side
Laughs when Daddy just comes into the room
He loves any drinks.  He will carry a cup around all day if you let him.
Loves brushing his teeth

Haircut #2

The boys were due for a haircut, again, and this time they weren't fans. Landon cried the entire time, and Jordan didn't like it much better. Nana got to come this time and got a couple pics!

Poor Landon!

Jordan got to play video games

Mommy had to hold his head still for the bangs!

After pics.. coming soon (they needed naps after, so I'm waiting for them to wake up!)

Raisins and Birthdays

The boys have been spoiled since we have been OK with them having candy lately and Eric takes the opportunity each evening after dinner to give them some sweets.  We have these chocolate covered raisins from Costco that they love, and even though they typically only get 2-3, they think it's the best thing ever.  Eric enjoys having them do tricks to get the sweets, and lately kisses have been our favorite.  Notice the tough guy shirt Jordan is wearing when he leans into Landon for a wet one!

Landon happily gives Daddy kisses for treats!

We had a great Saturday as it was time to celebrate Sammy's birthday!  We packed the boys up and headed down to OCNJ for the afternoon!  They have decided sleeping in the car is overrated, so they had some short naps, but the excitement of the party kept them from being fussy!  It was well worth the trip as they had my fave Mack 'n Mancos, and we even got to bring home some leftovers!  Thanks Nate and Kel... great party!

Fall Fun

We have had a fun fall this year.  The boys are enjoying being outside and now that they are running around, everything is such an adventure.  Eric was excited to get them their first hockey sticks and net.  Jordan especially loves his hockey stick and will carry it around for hours and even take it with him for naps.  They enjoy climbing all over the place, and running around like crazy most of the time.  They are getting so big and changing everyday.

Landon loves moving stuff around

Another serious lesson

We had to take a picture with the new tree before the snow came.  Last year you might remember the crazy pic of the boys with the funny faces :)

Here they are just a year later!

Silly boys - facepaint is on from our Halloween parade

Jordan loves picking up leaves

Landon yelling and screaming at the tree!

This is the boys during our first snow of the year on October 29, 2011.  Our power went out for over 24 hours and Daddy figured they needed some baby Einstein on the dying computer :)  They don't want TV or videos much, so this was a treat for them.  They sat there for almost 20 minutes just watching, pointing and laughing!

2 pairs of PJs since it was only 55 degrees in the house

I'm so thankful for who they are becoming and that I have the privilege of being their mommy.  They love daddy and get so excited when he wakes up each afternoon to play with them!  He loves to tickle them and they are even starting to wrestle with him which is so sweet to see.  We are excited to have my parents and Uncle Joel coming to PA for Thanksgiving this year.  It will be so good to spend some time with family.  We have so much to be thankful for!
