Our First Easter!

We had a great first Easter with the boys.  I was so busy having a nice holiday that I didn't get the camera out until after 2 meals in white shirts - needless to say I didn't get the cliche' nice Easter picture that I should've.  Regardless we had a nice holiday with the Schmidt side of the family, and it's amazing what a change it is to have a couple babies (and a new puppy) hanging around.  The boys got 3 Easter baskets each and were just so spoiled.  They love all their new toys and treats (and outfit from Grandma and PaPa Purcell - not pictured)

Landon spent most of the day with Aunt Lynds as she helped him open all his baskets.  Jordan chose to sit with Grandpa and even got him to read him his new book about the true meaning of Easter (thanks Aunt Lynds and Uncle Adam!)

You may see a super cute little puppy hanging around, that's our new nephew, Hoosier!  He is such a sweet little puppy!

Business Trip

I had to leave on my first overnight business trip a couple weeks ago.  Right before I left, I wanted to take a couple pictures of the boys.  I was sad to leave, but it was a great trip and the boys did so well while I was gone.  I missed them like crazy, but I have to admit it was nice to get away and see a lot of my co-workers.

Typical - Landon gives a little smile and Jordan is Mr. Serious

Flyer's Fans and Buddies

The boys are almost 11 months now, and I just can't believe how fast time has flown by.  I am starting to plan their birthday party, and it's so exciting to see how much they have been changing and growing!  They are the sweetest little guys, and I love every second I get to spend with them.  Here are some current things going on around here:

Jordan -
 - He is still pretty serious and is often caught studying his brother and just watching the craziness going on around him
- He loves Daddy more than ever and laughs and smiles when he enters the room
- He's got 4 teeth fully through and 2 more starting to poke through (2 on the bottom, 2 on the top and 2 more coming on the top)
- His favorite toys are the baby laptop and Grandma Bunny's old cell phone
- He will grab the phone, put it up to his ear (the right way) and make noise like he is talking
- He still loves the walker and can move around the whole downstairs very well and even fast!
- He sleeps well when there are no teeth coming in, but likes the swing for comfort still
- He is a chubby little guy (in comparison to his bro) and sometimes I lovingly call him 'fat boy'
- He loves every food we put in front of him, not picky at all (so far!)
- Points at Aspen and says "AHH" - very smart kid

Landon
- He loves to walk all over the place holding onto someones hands - he doesn't pull himself up yet, but it's by far his favorite position
- He 'dances' when music comes on by shaking his head
- He crawls backwards and has been found half under the couch on a couple occasions
- He laughs hysterically and puts his hand over his mouth when he does
- He is obsessed with his 'lovey' and cuddles it whenever he is asleep
- He is also in love with his Daddy and lights up when he comes in the room
- He is the bully that loves to take whatever Jordan is playing with or eating, but is also very good at sharing and will give the toy right back and also tries to put food in everyone's mouth for them (even when it has already been in his!)
- Sometimes cries when I walk by during the day (when Nana or Emily are over watching him while I work)
- His favorite toy is anything that plays music so he can "dance"
- His new thing is that he screams (happily) in the car when driving which was cute for about the first minute :)

Eric got the boys Flyers Shirts and is so excited now that they are big enough to start wearing them.. just in time for the Playoffs!

Grayson came to visit one afternoon, and all the boys had the same outfit so we had to get a couple pics.  G was so tired, and the boys were bored, so it wasn't the most interesting shoot, but they do look so cute together!  We can't wait until they are older and they can do some of the fun stuff their daddy's did together like the rope swing, kayaking etc.  For now, they just like to hang out :)

Bed Head

Sometimes when Jordan is napping he will wake up and just play with his hair.  He sometimes does it when he's awake, but this particular day, it appeared as though there was a party in his crib.  How can you not love this sweet little face?!

What are you lookin' at?!

I'm too cute!

Ridin' along on my automobile

Wait, how does this thing work?!
The other day the boys got all dressed up in the shirts my mom got them with their names!  They looked so cute with the matching pants and socks.  Emily dressed them and they looked too cute to not take some pictures.  As you can tell, it's getting harder and harder to catch them smiling, but you can see how much fun they are now!

Landon's new favorite thing is to hold onto someones hands and walk all over.  He screams and laughs the whole time, and doesn't want to stop.  He's only crawling backwards so far, but walking with assistance is no problem!

Both boys are also obsessed with lights.  When they wake up from naps or before bed, Landon will be known to hold his hand up towards the light.  Eric will lift him up and let him touch it, and he thinks it's the funniest thing ever.  They also think sneezing is hilarious and will laugh hysterically.  They are both super ticklish and I can't get enough of the giggles.

I have taken some video lately, and I just have to figure out how to get it onto the computer and then onto the blog!
