So I'm a little behind still, but I wanted to share some of the latest fun thing happening in the Schmidt house! The boys turned 9 months on February 13th and it's just so hard to believe they are getting so old :) Each day is more and more fun. They have completely dropped the 3rd nap of the day and have been so happy in the evenings. Eric and I love playing with them and watching what they will do next.
We had our 9 month appointment that week and found out that both boys have fallen off the charts. Landon weighed in at 15 lbs 10 oz and Jordan was 15 lbs 11 oz. They were each 26 inches long. The did qualify for the charts with their length (3% each), but the weight didn't register. The doctor told us it was OK, and that we just need to feed them as much as we can. So, we have implemented 2 snacks a day consisting mostly of cheerios :) They really are getting better at picking things up and putting them in their mouths.
Last Saturday we discovered that Jordan has popped his first tooth through, and Landon was not far behind as he got his first one yesterday! They are sharp little edges of the teeth, and we are excited to see them come in all the way. I didn't know they were teething at all since they had no signs. They have been sleeping through the night and taking great naps lately, so there was no indication at all that teeth were coming through.
One of our favorite new things that is going on is the boys now both will give a high five. It's so fun because they get so excited, and both will hit our hands and smile. They still are not crawling or moving around, but we really aren't in much of a hurry for that to start! Here are some random pics of the boys. We were trying to get Jordan's tooth while he was eating, but it's so tiny, you can't really see it!

Visit from the Wolf's
We were excited to have Everett and his mom and dad up for a visit a couple weeks ago! The boys are getting bigger now and Jordan and Landon really enjoyed watching Everett call and 'cruise' all over! He was moving around like a champ, and we saw a bit into the future of what the boys will be getting into very soon!
We had a great visit and used the new raclette that we got for Christmas. Since Ryan used to live in Switzerland, it brought back some good memories for him :) Everett is so cute, and we'll be excited to see him again soon for his birthday party! I can't believe he is almost a year old.. the time really does fly by!

Catching up!
So I haven't been great about blogging lately, and there is a lot to catch up on! The boys have been busy growing and doing new things. Some exciting facts about what has been going on lately:
* Landon has started giving kisses. It might be the sweetest thing ever, especially when he leans into Jordan multiple times a day!
* The love to eat eat eat. New favorites are squash, cheerios, puffs, bananas, pears and anything off of Mommy and Daddy's plate (I may have given them whip cream.. which they love!)
* They are sitting up on their own very well...
* They are very talkative and have been caught sitting across the floor from each other and maybe speaking their own little language
* Jordan loves the walker that Grandma got him for Christmas and walks all over the house
* They both had the stomach flu for the first time, but were great troopers and still slept through the night :)
* They are super ticklish, especially for daddy
* Landon laughs his head off when Daddy hits himself with a pillow - how do boys know that it's funny when people get hurt??
* Both say mama, dada, baba (we don't think they know what any of them mean quite yet though)
* Landon shakes his head no all the time, no matter what you say to him
* They continue to be the single greatest joy to us. We feel blessed everyday to have them in our lives!
Here are some pictures we took the other day after a day trip to the outlets. We got some letters for their room, or bathroom or somewhere in the house. For now, we'll just take pictures with the letters :)

First Haircut!
Eric has been wanting to give Landon a haircut for a couple weeks now, and I finally gave in! The patch of hair on the top of his head seemed to just grow and grow and never fall out like the rest of his hair. Some kids even referred to him as 'the one with the crazy hair', and that was the last straw :) Uncle Drew was also threatening to cut his hair when we were at the wedding, so it was time.
He was a very good boy, and Jordan also watched the whole time. I think he might be next :)

Broccoli
We gave the boys a little taste of Broccoli last week, and it was quite the hit! We didn't an action shot of Jordan, just the aftermath :)
