Well, after our weekend trip to Minnesota, we turned around on Tuesday and headed out to Cleveland for Thanksgiving! The boys did awesome in the car and slept the whole way there and back! Needless to say, we MUCH prefer to drive now that we have 2 little monsters! We headed out early in the week so we could spend as much time with the family as possible!
We started out the fun family week celebrating my nephew Jack's 4th birthday! It was a wonderful celebration with awesome surprises! Drew and Keri made another fabulous dinner and we truly enjoyed every second! Thursday came quickly as we prepared most of the dishes ahead of time and the boys geared up to fry our turkey for the first time ever! It was delicious and Doodle bug did a fabulous job. We enjoyed spending time with the Nettleton side of the family and as usual the sisters were out of control!
Thanks for hosting, Drew and Keri - you put on a fabulous holiday! We also really enjoyed our time with Keri's mother, Patsy. She helped out so much and it really was a joy to spend some time with her. She gives Drew a hard time, which I truly enjoyed!! Here are some pics from our fun weekend together!

Christmas Cards
It’s that time again! We are decorating the house and getting everything together for the annual Schmidt Christmas cards and letter! We couldn’t be more excited to pick everything out to send some holiday cheer to our wonderful family and friends. We are excited to use Shutterfly Christmas Cards yet again as they have the cutest styles that fit our family perfectly! Here are a couple that I just love!
Now that the boys are here, we can participate in the annual family calendar that is so easy to create and allows everyone to see pictures of the kids all year long. Shutterfly wall calendars are so easy to create, and they make great gifts for family!
Thanks to Shutterfly, our cards will be free since we are participating in this blog promotion! You too can get 50 free cards just for posting why you love Shutterfly! Don’t forget, they have Holiday Invitations too!!

Visiting Minnesota and Miss Claire
This weekend we were lucky enough to fly to Minnesota and visit this little angel, Claire Dittberner! I have been friends with Lindsay for 5 years and enjoyed seeing her marry the love of her life and start her family. Eric gets along really well with her husband, Adam and it's so fun we can all get to experience parenthood around the same time! So.. meet Miss Claire and see some pictures from this weekend!!
She isn't a fan of the flash :)
The flights that we took out and back to Minnesota were kinda crazy. We had an hour delay, trouble at security with the stroller and at least 1 screaming child most of the time :) I was exhausted last night when we got home, but it was so worth it to meet little Claire! We were only able to sit together on 1 of our 4 legs (connection in Chicago each way), so that is what made it so difficult. There are only 4 oxygen masks in a row, so if the flight is full, you can only have 1 child on your lap per row. We were able to sit across the aisle, but it made it all the more challenging. Overall we made it through and thanks to some very nice passengers we didn't feel too bad about disturbing the peace :) We did get lots of comments on how brave we were to take 6 month old twins on a plane and I'm so glad we did it! We had a wonderful weekend with what I think was a lot of activity considering we had 3 babies!
Bath Night
Now that the boys are taking baths together, I couldn't even think to go back to doing 1 at a time, so we threw the baby bath in the tub and squeezed the boys in. At first Jordan was sitting up, but as the bath progressed, he wanted to lounge with his bro! These two are so much fun, I absolutely love everything they do!!
Daddy and his boys
Friday night we decided to go out to eat. We went to Champps since it would be loud if we had 1, 2 or even 3 babies crying :) The babies did great and the boys even ate some sweet potatoes!! We had some crying in there somewhere, but who even noticed that? I do have to admit that Miss Claire slept the whole time (so you can guess who's babies were crying!)
While we were there, we decided it wasn't a trip to MN without going to the Mall of America! We had a great afternoon and Eric and I even rode the log ride! Yes, there is a log ride in a mall, but only in Minnesota! All the babies did great and enjoyed seeing all the crazy mid-westerners! After a long day, the babies enjoyed getting into thier PJs and smiling for some pictures!
